The Larrivee 000-40 Koa Special Edition is a unique acoustic guitar with a lot to offer. Equipped with the company’s Scalloped Hybrid bracing system, this guitar exhibits maximum soundboard vibration, but with controlled low-end response. The 000-40 Koa was built from moon spruce-topped koa, with a hand-fit dovetail joint for a lock-tight fit and optimal sustain. This all-solid-wood instrument’s playability is second to none, thanks to its comfortable mahogany neck and smooth ebony fingerboard. You also get a whole host of high-end appointments, including a bone nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard inlays, and 18:1 open-back tuners. The Larrivee 000-40 Koa Special Edition comes ornamented with rosewood multi-stripe binding, a radial wood rosette, a tortoise pickguard, and a stunning satin finish.
