Making
music is not about
the outward
appearance, the
cost or value of
the gear, or
playing to a
sell-out crowd at
the local sports
arena (although
that might be
fun!). It is about
a self expression
through songs,
whether writing
our own tunes or
performing the
music of others.
Music is often
most rewarding
when it’s
shared.
Instrumental music
is a cultural
expression best
made with the
heart, head, and
hands upon a
quality instrument
with a minimal
amount of
technical
augmentation
before it reaches
the listener’s
ears. It’s about
synchronizing with
a symphony of
players to
reproduce the
stirred soul’s
longing from
centuries ago. It’s
about conveying
passion to someone’s
heart when words
alone cannot reach
him or her.
Music is about
replicating that
great R&B
groove from the
70s that set your
soul on fire when
you got your first
car. It’s about
strengthening,
provoking,
encouraging, and
growing; it can
foster clear
thinking and
inspire noble
behavior.
It
goes without
saying, but I’m
going to say it
anyway that any
success we’ve
had and will
continue to see is
due to many
supportive family
members,
customers, and
friends who share
our love of music.
In the words of
Bartles &
Jaymes, “Thanks
for your support”
and we mean it!
